Toro Rosso have become the final team to unveil their 2017 car – the STR12.
The STR12’s blue, red and silver livery is a departure from what we have become used to with the team over their decade in the sport. Toro Rosso take engines from Renault this year for the first time since 2015. The nose of the car resembles that of Mercedes’ W08.
The team maintain the same line-up as last year with Carlos Sainz and Daniil Kvyat. Kvyat was, of course, moved back to the Toro Rosso when Red Bull chose to promote Max Verstappen after the 2016 Russian Grand Prix.
The battle between the midfield runners is expected to be very tight this year, so it will be interesting to see how the Italian team adapt to the Renault engine. Could they be a surprise package this season?
What do you think to the STR12? Where do you think they will finish in the mid-field battle this year? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
