2022 Bahrain Grand Prix

With Mick Schumacher reaching Q2 at the Bahrain Grand Prix, this was the first race at which neither Haas driver was eliminated in Q1 since the 2019 Brazilian Grand Prix.

2022 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix

Mick Schumacher suffered a huge crash during Q2 for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. The German was taken to hospital for precautionary checks and did not race as a result. Schumacher had the ninth fastest lap time at the time of his crash. He reached Q2 for the fourth time in his career.

2022 Australian Grand Prix

Mick Schumacher out-qualified and out-raced Kevin Magnussen for the first time in 2022.

2022 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix

Mick Schumacher started in the top ten for the first time in his Formula 1 career at the 2022 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. He failed to finish in the points, finishing in 17th – his worst finishing position of the year to date.

2022 Miami Grand Prix

Mick Schumacher looked set to score the first points of his F1 career, completing 21 laps of the Miami Grand Prix inside the top ten. A late race collision with Sebastian Vettel saw Schumacher finish only 15th.

2022 Spanish Grand Prix

Qualifying in tenth place, Mick Schumacher reached Q3 for the first time in his career. With team-mate Kevin Magnussen also in the top ten, this was the first time since the 2019 Brazilian Grand Prix that both Haas drivers reached Q3.

2022 Monaco Grand Prix

Both Kevin Magnussen and Mick Schumacher failed to finish the 2022 Monaco Grand Prix, making Haas the third team to record a double DNF this year. It was the team’s first double DNF since the 2021 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. Before 2022, Haas had never previously recorded a retirement at the Monaco Grand Prix.

2022 Azerbaijan Grand Prix

With both Mick Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel on the grid, the 2022 Azerbaijan Grand Prix was the 846th race to feature a German driver on the grid. That saw Germany overtake Italy as the country with the third-most starts in Formula 1 history. In qualifying, Mick Schumacher recorded his first Q1 exit of the 2022 season.

2022 Canadian Grand Prix

Mick Schumacher recorded his best qualifying result to date with sixth place. Schumacher retired from the race when running inside the top ten. His retirement marked the first time that a Haas driver has failed to reach the chequered flag in Canada. Schumacher became the first driver to retire from sixth on the grid at the Canadian Grand Prix since Nico Rosberg in 2006.

2022 British Grand Prix

Finishing in eighth place, Mick Schumacher picked up the first points of his Formula 1 career. Schumacher slots into sixth on the list of most starts before a driver’s first points. This was his 31st Grand Prix appearance. Schumacher is the first driver to pick up the first points of his Formula 1 career at Silverstone since Alex Wurz in the 1997 British Grand Prix.

2022 Austrian Grand Prix

Mick Schumacher recorded points for the second weekend in a row, bettering his previous best result. With sixth place, this was the first race to feature a Schumacher in the top six since the 2012 Italian Grand Prix, in which Michael finished sixth with Mercedes.

2022 French Grand Prix

After having a lap time deleted in Q1, Mick Schumacher qualified on the back row for the third time in the last five races. With Schumacher finishing 15th and Kevin Magnussen retiring, this was the first time that Haas have failed to score since the Canadian Grand Prix. With both Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel on the grid, this was the 850th race to feature a German driver on the grid.

2022 Hungarian Grand Prix

Mick Schumacher finished 14th in the 2022 Hungarian Grand Prix, which is two positions worse than where he finished at the Hungaroring last year.

2022 Belgian Grand Prix

After finishing in 17th place, Mick Schumacher remains the only member of the Schumacher family who’ve raced in Formula 1 who has not yet scored a point at the Belgian Grand Prix.

2022 Dutch Grand Prix

Along with Carlos Sainz, Mick Schumacher is one of only two drivers to have finished in a worse position than where he started at each of the last two Zandvoort races. Both drivers lost five positions from their starting places in the 2022 Dutch Grand Prix.

2022 Italian Grand Prix

Mick Schumacher qualified last for the Italian Grand Prix, marking his worst qualifying result of the season to date. Haas are still yet to pick up any points at the Italian Grand Prix, but Mick Schumacher made this the third time a Haas driver has finished in the top 12 at the event.

2022 Singapore Grand Prix

Mick Schumacher finished the Singapore Grand Prix in 13th place. With team-mate Kevin Magnussen one position ahead, this was the fifth consecutive race in which both Haas drivers have finished without picking up any points. This being his first appearance in Singapore, Schumacher joined a group of 17 other drivers who’ve completed every race they’ve started at Marina Bay. He was the only one of the four Singapore rookies on the grid to finish the race.

2022 Japanese Grand Prix

Being the last driver to pit for intermediate tyres, Mick Schumacher almost led a lap for the first time in his career but was overtaken just before the line by Max Verstappen. Schumacher finished 17th at Suzuka, equalling his worst result of the last nine races.

2022 United States Grand Prix

Mick Schumacher maintained his 100% Q1 exit rate at Circuit of The Americas, qualifying in 19th place for the second consecutive United States Grand Prix.

2022 Mexico City Grand Prix

Mick Schumacher reached the chequered flag at the Mexico City Grand Prix, finishing in 16th place. This was the seventh time Schumacher has finished 16th, making 16th his most common result in Formula 1.

2022 Sao Paulo Grand Prix

He failed to pick up points, but Mick Schumacher enjoyed a more successful time on his second visit to Interlagos. He qualified seven positions further up the grid than in 2021 and finished 13th, compared to 18th in the previous season.

2022 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

Mick Schumacher made his 43rd and final start with the Haas team at the 2022 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Schumacher qualified 13th, recording the Haas team’s best qualifying result at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix since 2018, when both drivers qualified in the top 13.
