2022 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix

Lance Stroll was the only driver to finish a lap down in the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix following a late race crash with Alex Albon. The Canadian has failed to score at any of the last four races; his longest point-less streak since the five races between the 2020 Mugello and Imola races.

2022 Australian Grand Prix

Driving from 19th on the grid to 12th at the finish, Lance Stroll made up seven positions in the Australian Grand Prix. The Canadian also made up seven places in the last race here in 2019.

2022 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix

Along with Lando Norris, Lance Stroll is one of only two drivers who has gained positions in all of the last three races at Imola.

2022 Miami Grand Prix

Lance Stroll qualified in tenth place, reaching Q3 for the first time since the 2021 Turkish Grand Prix. Stroll started from the pit lane due to a pre-race fuel issue. He went on to finish the Miami Grand Prix in tenth place, scoring a point for the second race in a row. It’s the first time he has scored at successive races since the 2021 French and Styrian Grands Prix.

2022 Spanish Grand Prix

For the fourth time in his six Spanish Grand Prix appearances, Lance Stroll was eliminated in Q1. He equalled Adrian Sutil as the driver with the second-most Q1 eliminations at the venue. Only Marcus Ericsson has more Q1 exits at the track.

2022 Monaco Grand Prix

Lance Stroll was eliminated in Q1 for the fourth time in his five Monaco Grand Prix appearances. It was also the fourth time he has qualified 18th at the circuit.

2022 Azerbaijan Grand Prix

Lance Stroll qualified 19th as a result of a crash for the second successive year at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. This was the Aston Martin driver’s third consecutive Q1 exit in Baku, as well as his third back row qualification of the 2022 season. He equalled Romain Grosjean and Marcus Ericsson as the driver to have recorded the most Q1 exits in Baku.

Stroll pulled to the side of the track towards the end of the race, becoming the fifth and final retirement of the afternoon. This was Stroll’s first retirement of the season. He last failed to finish at the 2021 Sao Paulo Grand Prix. 2022 is the second consecutive season in which Stroll has retired from the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

2022 Canadian Grand Prix

Lance Stroll may have made this his fourth consecutive Q1 exit at his home race, but 2022 is the third time he’s picked up points at the Canadian Grand Prix. This was the third time that Stroll has picked up a point in 2022. He’s yet to finish above tenth place this season.

Stroll recorded his fourth Q1 exit in a row, which is his longest streak of Q1 eliminations since his run of 14 between the 2018 United States Grand Prix and the 2019 British Grand Prix. Stroll equals Marcus Ericsson and Heikki Kovalainen as the driver to have had the most Q1 exits at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

2022 British Grand Prix

Lance Stroll recorded his fifth consecutive Q1 exit, qualifying on the back row for the fourth time this year. This was Stroll’s 55th Q1 exit, equalling Adrian Sutil and Heikki Kovalainen for third on the list of most Q1 exits since the qualifying system was introduced in 2006.
