Your 2023 Dutch Grand Prix Predictions: The Results

Did you predict another win for Verstappen? Or multiple red flags in qualifying? How many of your pre-race predictions for the 2023 Dutch Grand Prix were correct? Find out below!

1. WILL VERSTAPPEN EQUAL THE CONSECUTIVE WIN RECORD?

YOUR PREDICTION: YES

CORRECT ANSWER: YES

As 85% of you predicted, nobody could stop Max Verstappen’s winning streak at the 2023 Dutch Grand Prix. He took his third consecutive win at home and his ninth successive win in the 2023 season. The latter saw him equal Sebastian Vettel’s record for most consecutive wins in World Championship history.

2. WHO’LL SCORE THE BEST RESULT – MERCEDES, ASTON MARTIN, FERRARI OR McLAREN?

YOUR PREDICTION: MERCEDES

CORRECT ANSWER: ASTON MARTIN

Aston Martin finished only third in this vote but Fernando Alonso’s runner-up spot ensured the team was best of the rest at the 2023 Dutch Grand Prix. Mercedes – who received the most votes – finished with Lewis Hamilton sixth and George Russell only 17th after late race contact.

3. WHERE WILL TSUNODA FINISH IN THE 2023 DUTCH GRAND PRIX?

YOUR PREDICTION: 11th-14th

CORRECT ANSWER: 15th or lower

Despite running as high as the top five at one point, Yuki Tsunoda finished only 16th at the 2023 Dutch Grand Prix. He was beaten to the finish line by debutant team-mate Liam Lawson. The rookie finished 13th after being called in to replace Daniel Ricciardo, who suffered a broken bone in his hand in a Free Practice incident on Friday.

4. HOW MANY RED FLAGS WILL THERE BE IN QUALIFYING?

YOUR PREDICTION: 1

CORRECT ANSWER: 2

There were two red flags during the qualifying hour at the 2023 Dutch Grand Prix. Both red flags came in Q3. The first was as a result of Logan Sargeant crashing at Turn 2. Later in the session, Charles Leclerc crashed at Turn 9.

5. WHERE WILL THE TOP HAAS DRIVER FINISH?

YOUR PREDICTION: 13th or 14th

CORRECT ANSWER: IN THE TOP 12

Nico Hulkenberg was Haas’ top finisher at the 2023 Dutch Grand Prix. The German finished 12th, while team-mate Kevin Magnussen came home 14th. Neither driver has scored in any of the last eight Grands Prix.
