?? WEEKEND MILESTONES AND RECORDS
- This will be the very first Vietnam Grand Prix. The Hanoi Street Circuit will be the 72nd different circuit which Formula 1 has raced at.
- This weekend, Lewis Hamilton will overtake Jarno Trulli as the driver to have started the eight most F1 races in F1 history. This will be Hamilton’s 253rd appearance. Trulli made 252 starts in his career, with his last appearance coming at the 2011 Brazilian Grand Prix.
- Pierre Gasly will make his 50th F1 start at the 2020 Vietnam Grand Prix.
- A podium for either Lewis Hamilton or Sebastian Vettel would see them equal Kimi Raikkonen’s record of different events at which a driver has finished on the podium. Raikkonen has finished on the podium at 26 different events so far in his career.

Each weekend a former Formula 1 driver, or a driver from another prominent series of motorsport, joins the stewards to help judge any incidents from a drivers’ perspective. The Driver Steward this weekend will be TBC.
