Alex Albon was the fastest of the two Williams drivers in qualifying on Friday at the Austrian Grand Prix. He qualified in 12th place, equalling his best qualifying result of the season to date. He moved up to 11th on the sprint grid following Sergio Perez’s demotion.

From these three teams, Haas were the only one to score. Both Haas drivers finished in the top eight. Mick Schumacher was a career-best sixth, while Kevin Magnussen came home in eighth place.
