Your 2021 Dutch GP Predictions: The Results

How many of your pre-race predictions for the 2021 Dutch Grand Prix were correct? Find out below!

1. WHO WILL WIN THE RACE?

YOUR PREDICTION: MAX VERSTAPPEN

CORRECT ANSWER: MAX VERSTAPPEN

Max Verstappen delighted his home crowd by taking pole position and winning the Dutch Grand Prix. His victory put him back in front in the championship battle, and made him the first Dutchman to win at Zandvoort.

2. WHICH OF THESE DRIVERS WILL RECORD THE BEST RESULT?

YOUR PREDICTION: LANDO NORRIS

CORRECT ANSWER: PIERRE GASLY

The driver with the least votes on this poll won this particular battle. After an impressive Saturday, Pierre Gasly finished the Dutch Grand Prix in fourth place. While Charles Leclerc finished fifth and Fernando Alonso sixth, Lando Norris – who was eliminated in Q2 – scored a single point in tenth place.

3. WILL WILLIAMS SCORE?

YOUR PREDICTION: NO

CORRECT ANSWER: NO

For the first time since the British Grand Prix, Williams failed to pick up a point. Both cars crashed in Q2, with George Russell starting eleventh and Nicholas Latifi starting from the pit lane. Russell retired with a handful of laps remaining, while Latifi came home in sixteenth.

4. HOW MANY DRIVERS WILL SCORE FROM THE BOTTOM 10 GRID SLOTS?

YOUR PREDICTION: 1 OR 2

CORRECT ANSWER: 1 or 2

Overtaking proved to be difficult at Zandvoort, but two drivers who started outside the top ten went on to score points. Those two drivers were Lando Norris – who finished tenth having started thirteenth – and Sergio Perez – who was voted Driver of the Day after driving from a pit lane start to an eighth place finish.

5. WILL IT RAIN?

YOUR PREDICTION: NO

CORRECT ANSWER: NO

Unlike one week ago at the Belgian Grand Prix and despite earlier weather forecasts suggesting rain for Sunday afternoon, it stayed dry for the Dutch Grand Prix weekend.
