Red Bull have lifted the covers on their 2020 car, the RB16.
Red Bull have unveiled their new car, the RB16. For the past two seasons, Red Bull have launched their new car in a special livery and reverted to their traditional colours for testing. This year, the RB16 has been launched in its race livery. The team posted images of the car online ahead of a filming day today at Silverstone, where Max Verstappen will be first to get behind the wheel of the new machine.
This is the second Red Bull car to be powered by Honda. In their first year with the Japanese manufacturer, Verstappen secured three victories in Austria, Germany and Brazil. Alex Albon took over the second seat after a string of uninspiring performances by Pierre Gasly, and the British-Thai driver will one again line up alongside Verstappen in 2020. Red Bull are seeking their first title success since Sebastian Vettel led them to Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championship victories for a fourth consecutive year in 2013.
