Toro Rosso have become the latest team to unveil their 2018 car – the STR13.
The Italian team have revealed the first official picture of the car in action during their filming day at the Misano circuit. The team released the picture after images of the car on track were leaked earlier on Wednesday. The livery remains largely unchanged, while the halo is painted in the same shade of blue as the chassis.
For 2018, Toro Rosso take Honda power for the first time. A spokesperson for the team told Motorsport Week that the day had run ‘smoothly’ and ‘without any issues’.
The Red Bull junior squad maintain their driver line-up of Pierre Gasly and Brendon Hartley, who began driving for them in the latter stages of the 2017 season following Daniil Kvyat’s axing from the team, and Carlos Sainz’s move to Renault.
Toro Rosso finished seventh in the Constructors’ Championship, for a fourth season in a row, in 2017. Time will tell if Honda have smoothed out the reliability issues which curtailed their relationship with McLaren.
