F1 Winter Testing 2018: Week 2 Lap Count

We all know lap times don’t matter too much in Winter Testing – but the lap count is perhaps more significant. Below you can see which drivers and teams did the most (and least) laps on each day of the second test and which drivers and teams did the most laps in total over the eight days of testing.

  1. Please comment on vettel vs Kimi lap count… is Kimi being frezed out – ferrari putting all effort into vettel and thus relying so much on vettel giving him all the laps for Best possible outcome/chance in the Championship??

      Don’t forget Kimi was forced to miss half a day due to illness, and was unlucky with the weather conditions during the first week. Having said that, it definitely doesn’t account entirely for the disparity in mileage between the two. It’s interesting to think about, but it seems unlikely that Ferrari would put all their effort behind Seb immediately
