Stats and Facts

  • Since its return to the F1 calendar in 2015, there have been no repeat winners of the Mexican Grand Prix. Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen are the only drivers on the current grid to have taken victory here. 
  • There has also been a different polesitter in each season since F1 returned to Mexico. Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel each have one pole in Mexico City.

Sergio Perez will partake in his fourth home Grand Prix this weekend. His best result at this track so far came last year, when he finished seventh.


  Press Conference Schedules

The Drivers’ Press Conference will take place on Thursday 25th October. The press conference will be split into two parts, with three drivers appearing in the first part, and a further three in the second part. The drivers appearing in front of the media will be:

  Driver Steward

Each weekend a former Formula One driver, or a driver from another prominent series of motorsport, joins the stewards to help judge any incidents from a drivers’ perspective. The Driver Steward for the 2018 Mexican Grand Prix is Mika Salo.
